Minute   Description
Thanks for joining our coverage today. Until next time, goodbye.
Wolves remain without a win in their return to the Premier League but they will be full of confidence after a fine performance, which puts them in a good position heading into a week where they face Sheffield Wednesday in the Carabao Cup before travelling to West Ham. Meanwhile, City will aim to return to winning ways next week against Newcastle.
Wolves will be delighted by their performance and deserve plaudits for a superb performance. Manchester City will wonder what might have been after striking the woodwork three times but they could not overcome Nuno's firm side, who proved to be a handful at both ends of the field.
OFF THE BAR! Almost the moment for City as Aguero strikes a superb effort against the frame of the goal, the second time he has hit the woodwork in this match.
90'+4 Potentially a crucial moment as Moutinho fouls Aguero, conceding a free-kick in a very dangerous position.
90'+3 Jota and Walker clash late on as Wolves desperately try to cope with the continued assault from Guardiola's side.
90'+1 There will be five minutes of added time at the end of the second half.
90' Traore again leading Wolves' charge as he skips past Mendy and drills a low ball into the middle that Kompany blocks, with the ball then going out for a corner. However, Moutinho's delivery is easily cleared away.
88' OVER! Traore leads the Wolves counter as he beats both Mendy and Laporte for pace down the right, floating a cross to the far post that Jota chests down before striking over the bar.
87' Wolves are back defending as much as they can as City continue to push forward in an attempt to find a winning goal.
85' Guardiola makes his third and final change, replacing Sterling with Mahrez.
Wolves make their second change of the game, replacing Jonny with Vinagre.
83' City banging on the door with a flurry of corners but Sane's delivery is headed away by Jimenez.
81' Still a very difficult game to call as both sides look dangerous pushing forward and have the capability to find a winning goal as we enter the final ten minutes of regulated time.
79' Moutinho stands over the latest corner for Wolves but his delivery is easily headed away by Fernandinho at the near post.
77' City call for their second change, replacing Gundogan with his Germany compatriot Sane.
SAVE! Mendy fires a fierce cross into the middle where Jesus rises to head at goal but his effort is denied by a fine save from Patricio.
74' A short break in play as Jesus and Doherty receive treatment from their respective medical teams after a clash of heads.
72' Wolves make an attacking change as Nuno introduces club-record signing Traore in place of Costa for his home debut.
70' City are furious once again as they appeal for a penalty after Aguero charges into the box. Replays shows there is minimal contact and he is perhaps fortunate not to be judged to have dived.
69' Just like Moutinho at the other end, Gundogan put the ball on a plate for Laporte to attack. A superb delivery.
GOAL! 1-1! Gundogan floats a superb free-kick towards the far post where Laporte fires a strong header past Patricio for his first Manchester City goal.
66' WIDE! Wolves counter again and have Jota charge into the area but the angle is too tight for a shot, so he cuts back and feeds Neves. However, his effort is drilled the wrong side of the post.
64' City are back piling the pressure onto Wolves but the hosts have been rallied by Boly's goal, with the atmosphere inside Molineux rising significantly.
62' Guardiola makes City's first change, introducing Jesus for Bernardo Silva.
60' Silva has his name taken in the aftermath of that appeal, which appears to be for his protests.
59' David Silva appeals for a penalty after being crowded out inside the area but the protests are waved away by the officials.
City will be unhappy when they see replays of the goal though as the final touch appeared to come off Boly's arm - a moment that will surely spark VAR discussions.
57' Moutinho masterminds the goal with a pinpoint cross and Wolves are on their way. A huge moment for Nuno's side.
GOOOOAL! 1-0 Wolves! Moutinho goes short from the resulting corner to play a one-two with Neves, then whipping an inviting cross into the middle where Boly bundles home.
56' SAVE! Costa bursts through the City defence to find room for a shot but his denied by a strong save from Ederson at his near post.
55' Nuno's side continue to be patient and are sitting back to soak up the pressure, which is coming thick and fast from City.
53' Wolves still yet to have a sniff of the ball since the start of the second half as City continue to ping the ball around with intent.
51' City have seen the lion's share of possession since the restart, putting Wolves on the back foot but still struggling to create opportunities from open play.
49' Walker's shot from outside the box is deflected behind for another corner and Gundogan's delivery is met by Kompany, who heads over the bar.
48' Bernardo Silva wins a free-kick after being fouled by Jota in a dangerous position. Gundogan floats it into the middle and Wolves skipper Coady heads it behind for a corner.
46' Manchester City get the action back underway at Molineux.
Both sides have looked vulnerable on the counter and that could be exploited in the second half. Nuno will want his side to remain composed as City are sure to come out of the blocks firing, while Guardiola may need to change things tactically to cope with Costa's threat up against Mendy - as he has struggled defensively.
We are level at the break after a fantastic first half of football, where Wolves have given Manchester City plenty to think about. Guardiola's side have come closest though after striking the frame of the goal twice, while Jimenez had the ball in the net for the hosts but was correctly flagged offside.
45'+1 Guardiola's side counter superbly and Coady brilliantly slides in to block Bernardo Silva's effort inside the box.
45' City are being very sloppy at the back in the final moments of the half and look like they need the interval to settle themselves.
43' Costa is proving to be a real handful for Mendy to handle and the France defender then has a moment to forget after a foul throw.
41' Coady slides through the back of Aguero in midfield and has his name taken by Martin Atkinson.
SAVE! Mendy drills a superb cross into the middle that Patricio is forced to palm away, then pouncing on Aguero's tame shot.
39' The game is still very delicately poised as we edge towards the interval and Wolves will be very happy with their performance against the defending champions so far.
37' WIDE! Wolves come close from a corner as Moutinho's delivery is headed away but floated towards the back post from Neves, Jimenez superbly shifts past Mendy onto his left foot but cannot hit the target with his effort.
35' Nuno's side are starting to find their rhythm again, stretching the play to find room, but they are again forced into a shot from range as Neves fires over the bar.
33' WIDE! City continue to pick up the loose balls, as Fernandinho collects on the edge of the area but drags a shot off target.
32' Wolves appear to have lost their sting in the past ten minutes, with City controlling the tempo and putting their hosts on the back foot.
28' However, David Silva is not able to emulate his superb strike last week as Wolves easily head the ball away.
27' Bernardo Silva is fouled on the edge of the area by Neves, handing City a glorious opportunity to strike an effort at goal.
24' The game has sparked into life now and we have been treated to plenty of action in the past few minutes. However, it still remains goalless.
22' WHAT A SAVE! Sterling takes the ball down outside the area and fires a fierce effort at goal, forcing Patricio to tip the ball onto the crossbar.
21' OFF THE POST! City immediately hit with an attack of their own, with Aguero finding room inside the area but seeing his curled finish bounce away off the frame of the goal.
20' OFFSIDE! Wolves counter spectacularly as Jota leads the counter and his shot is deflected to Jimenez at the far post. He taps home but the flag is raised.
19' City are certainly not getting their own way here at Molineux, where Wolves have impressed but look frail down the right side of their defence.
17' Costa superbly beats Mendy on the right with a fine bit of skill and wins the game's first corner, which Moutinho heads over to take. His delivery is headed away by Kompany and Neves lashes a shot from outside the box wide of the mark.
15' SAVE! First chance of the game for City as Aguero cushions a header to Gundogan, who charges into the area and forces Patricio into a save at his near post.
14' City continue to be caught by Wolves' quick switch from defence to attack and Fernandinho is fortunate not to be booked for a foul on Jota.
13' Big signs of encouragement for Wolves as Costa has a sight at goal from close range after the ball rebounded into his path but the offside flag is raised.
12' Neves spins Kompany in midfield and is fouled, which sees the Belgium international earn the game's first booking.
11' City are still dominating possession but are yet to create a chance of note, while looking vulnerable at the back to Wolves' counters.
9' Kompany, in his 250th Premier League appearance, concedes a free-kick for a foul on Jimenez. Neves floats a cross into the middle but Ederson collects comfortably.
7' Sterling has found pockets of space to work with down the left for City, which is promising, but they're yet to create anything as of yet.
5' The hosts have looked threatening on the counter already and their wing-backs are proving to be effective, bursting forward when required but tucking in to defend when City have possession.
3' Wolves have the first meaningful attack of the game as Doherty overlaps down the left and provides a cross into the middle but it is too long for a team-mate to latch onto.
1' We are underway at Molineux, where Wolves start the action.
A touching moment ahead of the game as Carl Ikeme comes out onto the field to a standing ovation. The former goalkeeper spent his entire career with Wolves and retired in the close season after battling leukaemia.
Guardiola makes two changes from his City side that breezed past Huddersfield last week, restoring Walker and Sterling to the starting line-up. Stones and Sterling drop to the bench, where they are joined by 19-year-old goalkeeper Muric as Claudio Bravo faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Wolves remain unchanged from last weekend's defeat to Leicester, with Doherty passed fit after being forced off in that loss. Moutinho and Neves continue their exciting partnership in midfield, with Jimenez leading the line.
Man City subs: Arijanet Muric, Gabriel Jesus, Fabian Delph, Leroy Sane, Riyad Mahrez, John Stones, Nicolas Otamendi.
Wolves subs: John Ruddy, Romain Saiss, Adama Traore, Morgan Gibbs-White, Kortney Hause, Ruben Vinagre, Leo Bonatini.
Man City XI (4-2-3-1): Ederson; Kyle Walker, Vincent Kompany, Aymeric Laporte, Benjamin Mendy; Fernandinho, Ilkay Gundogan; Bernardo Silva, David Silva, Raheem Sterling; Sergio Aguero.
Wolves XI (3-4-3): Rui Patricio; Ryan Bennett, Conor Coady, Willy Boly; Matt Doherty, Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho, Jonny; Diogo Jota, Raul Jimenez, Helder Costa.
Manchester City have come out of the blocks flying as they look to defend their title, sweeping past Arsenal on the opening weekend and hitting Huddersfield for six last time out. The Citizens are clear favourites today, especially as Guardiola has never lost a Premier League match against a newly promoted side.
Wolves last tackled the Citizens in the top-flight six years ago, suffering a 2-0 defeat that sealed their relegation. Their return to the Premier League has so far seen them draw with Everton and lose against Leicester, leaving Nuno Espirito Santo's side still searching for their first win of the season.
Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the Premier League clash between Wolves and Manchester City, where Pep Guardiola's defending champions travel to face a side who won the Championship last term.
