Minute   Description
It's time for City and Bayern to both get ready for the season proper now; though the latter have one more friendly against Manchester United to play, they both have their eyes on winning their first pieces of domestic silverware of the campaign next. City travel to Wembley to face Chelsea for the Charity Shield; Bayern face off against Niko Kovac's old side Eintracht Frankfurt in the DFL-Supercup Final. Until then however, thank you for joining us - and have a good weekend!
A Bernardo Silva brace either side of half-time and a goal for Lukas Nmecha give Manchester City their first ICC win of 2018 in their final game of the tournament - and sends them back home to Europe with a smile on their face. Their young side fizzed from the first whistle and despite going two goals down in quick order against the run of play, Pep Guardiola's team showed their mettle to overcome a more experienced Bayern side. Niko Kovac will have plenty of positives to take from this game too, but he leaves Miami Gardens with nothing to show for his efforts; at full-time at Hard Rock Stadium, it finishes Bayern Munich 2-3 Manchester City.
90'+2 Gnabry looks to find Robben as Bayern players pile into the City box but only gives it to Silva who belts the ball downfield.
90' Three added minutes are on the way.
89' City clear the corner with ease and take it to midfield to keep the danger at bay.
88' Robben sees an effort deflected wide to the right from inside the box and Bayern will have a corner.
86' Bernabe goes for goal from distance and isn't too far off the mark, swinging his central effort wide to the left post by a foot or so.
85' ...and City bring off Foden for Benjamin Garre.
A change for each side now; Bayern replace Ribery with Marcel Zylla...
83' Robery rolls a throughball down the left flank for Zirkzee to chase; Bravo comes off his line to sweep it up before the substitute can get there.
81' Robben again! This time, Humphreys-Grant joins Bravo in blocking and clearing the Dutchman's excellent shot, pushing it wide to the right with some scrambling defence.
79' Robben is the man spearheading Bayern's attempts to level the scores - and he sees a shot blocked by Bravo. Coman has a second bite of the cherry thanks to a Ribery pass but can't make it stick either.
77' This has been a promising showing, save a 10-minute stretch in the first half, for the youngsters of Manchester City. If permitted, players like Foden and Nmecha may very well bloom at the Premier League champions this year.
75' Will is also replaced by Ryan Johansson.
...and it's Joshua Zirkzee who arrives, replacing Wagner up front.
73' Bayern are going to make a change now as they seek an equaliser of their own...
70' Bernabe's only been on a few minutes and yet he's made an instant impact, nipping at the heels of a flagging Bayern defence. That pass for the assist was something rather lovely.
SILVA GETS HIS SECOND! CITY LEAD 3-2! He didn't even start the game and yet Bernardo Silva has two goals two his name in Miami as, fed a lovely ball by Bernabe, he rolls a low shot into the near-right corner, underneath Ulreich and tickling the post on the way. Bayern trail for the first time in this game; 3-2 to City.
67' ...and Claudio Gomes also arrives to replace Laporte.
Diaz also makes way for Jack Harrison for the Premier League champions...
66' City make another change now with Adrian Bernabe on for Bolton.
63' Coman and Humphreys-Grant have been locked in an engaging tussle tonight that the former has had the advantage in for the most part - and once again, he slips around the latter, though his square pass is poor and cleared and Laporte.
59' Coman again finds space out on the left edge of the City box but Laporte shuts him down quickly with the help of Silva. No additional changes yet for either side, in what is a break from the norm in other ICC games so far.
57' Is that a penalty? Sandro Wagner thinks he should have one after Garcia brings him down in blocking the striker's attempt to volley a square ball from Robben towards goal. The referee is having no truck with it though and play resumes without a spot-kick.
55' Coman looks to shoot from distance, then reconsiders and feeds Will out on the left who can't muster an effort either.
53' There's a long way to go in this game yet, but it's City who seem to be in the ascendancy after a wobbly few exchanges in the opening encounters of this second half. How long they remain in control is another matter though - Bayern have already scored once against the run of play.
51' NMECHA EQUALISES FOR CITY! It's all square as the forward races onto a loose ball, bobbled by Ulreich following a Foden shot from distance, and blasts it into the bottom-right corner. 2-2 at Hard Rock Stadium with just over 50 minutes gone and it's game on.
49' Great keeping by Bravo sees the City captain leap across his six-yard box to claw away a Robben cross that was otherwise set on a course to meet the foot of a rampaging Ribery near the left post. Humphreys-Grant was caught out by the pace of both there.
47' Ribery fouls Foden on the edge of the City box, following an early Bayern corner, and the latter wins a free-kick.
46' ...Rafinha, who supplied the assist for the first goal, is off and Serge Gnabry is on in his place.
We are back underway at Hard Rock Stadium and there has been a change at the break..
There are positives for both coaches to take from their opening 45 minutes in Miami - but changes will likely come after the break as both look to flex their tactical muscles.
A Meritan Shabani header against the run of play followed by a superb Arjen Robben strike looked to have put Bayern Munich on a winning path in Miami Gardens - but an injury time solo goal from Bernardo Silva has ensured that Manchester City, fantastic in the first 15 minutes, are very much still in this game. At half-time at Hard Rock Stadium, it's Bayern Munich 2-1 Manchester City.
45'+1 Bolton supplied the pass in midfield to put Silva on his way and stayed in support downfield too, as a potential second option. He wasn't needed in the end - but smart support play nonetheless.
SILVA ON THE STROKE OF HALF-TIME! 2-1! The substitute, on to replace Mahrez, scores a brilliant solo effort as he tears down the right flank, steps inside at the edge of the box, and blasts low across Ulreich into the bottom-left corner. City are right back in this game.
45' Two added minutes on the way in this first half.
44' A header from Shabani is less destructive from a City perspective this time as he can only steer Robben's cross to Bravo.
42' A corner for Bayern falls deep to Robben for a volley; this time, he scuffs it poorly and Laporte is able to clear for City.
40' Silva picks up a booking born of frustration as he drags back Williams by the shirt.
39' A quickly-taken free-kick for Bayern releases Robben into the City box once more. Laporte smothers his attempt out for a corner and then Silva manages to clear, albeit not without difficulty as Wagner presses him for possession.
37' This really is a coming-of-age showing from Diaz, who made his Premier League debut in January, as he curls another shot from 20 yards out on the left towards the top-right corner that just skims over the crossbar and netting.
35' Diaz! The sparky City 18-year-old cuts around Alaba but sees his close-range effort deflected back. The Premier League champions are showing plenty of enterprise still.
32' Down the other end, Diaz breaks free of his markers again and weaves down the left flank. He goes for a chip rather than squaring to Nmecha though and botches it; Bayern are let off the hook again at the back.
30' Robben! The Bayern man hits a cut-back pass with the power of a freight train; Bravo makes a stunning fast save to his right to deny him a second goal of the game.
29' Close from Foden! City find their groove again as the teenager breaks free; he lofts a close effort just wide of the top-right corner.
28' Indeed, it's the end of the road today for Mahrez; he hobbles off and Bernardo Silva replaces him.
26' Apparently it can; Mahrez is down again, with what appears to be a similar issue to earlier, and it looks as if that will be his game.
24' Foden gave Ribery too much time and space there, and the Bayern man exploited it to great effect to pick out his team-mate. It couldn't get much worse for City right now, after their brilliant start yielded nothing.
ROBBEN MAKES IT TWO! History just got a lot harder to overcome for City as Bayern get a second thanks to the talismanic Dutchman, who meets a brilliant pass from Ribery and duly sprays a shot into the opposite right corner across Bravo. From a full-throttle bang to a whimper, City are on the ropes. 2-0 to Bayern.
19' Rafinha looks to slip down the right edge and cross in again for Bayern, seeking Coman; Bolton checks the latter though and picks up the pass instead.
17' Back underway now and City's flow has taken a huge hit. Foden threads it around the back and then slips away from Wagner, but the pace of the first 15 minutes has vanished.
15' That was the first serious attacking threat, arguably, that City have faced in a match where the key factor has been their own relentless attack. Rafinha's cross cut them open far too easily there though; they've just made finding their first ICC win of the tournament a whole lot harder.
SHABANI FOR BAYERN! 1-0! Against the run of play, the Bundesliga holders open the scoring! Rafinha ferrets his way down the right wing and lofts a fine cross in from a tight position; he finds Shabani six yards out, who buries a strong header in at the left side of the goal. City look stunned. 1-0 to Bayern.
13' Nmecha hits the woodwork! A dizzying counter from City catches the Bayern defence out once again and he squeezes a shot off from a tight right flank position that ricochets violently off the left post. Bayern are being battered at the back.
12' Coman makes a little bit of magic out of nothing to put Bayern near the City box for the first time in 10 minutes; the last cross is too flat though and Will can't make it stick.
10' Their opening foray aside, Bayern have been nowhere near the City half with ball in hand. Humphreys-Grant carves down the right flank and clips a cross in for Nmecha that just drifts away from the forward and out to Alaba.
8' Mahrez, now recovered, trundles down the left flank with the heft of a steamroller and tips a throughball to the left for Nmecha. The youngster can only blast his effort from 10 yards at Ulreich though and the keeper smothers it away.
7' Mahrez seems OK to continue, with what looks to be a slight ankle niggle. A poor clearance from Ulreich goes straight back to City at close range and Diaz is pinged for offside a moment later to spare Bayern from punishment from their keeper's error.
5' City's young guns are fizzing around the pitch with plenty of intent so far, and a cry goes up for a penalty after Richards nudges Mahrez to the box, sending the latter to the ground. The referee waves play on, though it is stopped shortly later after the £60million new recruit fails to stand again.
3' Down the other end, Diaz cuts easily into the box and spawns a flurry of half-chances, pinging the ball off his team-mates, before Meier eventually puts an end to the move with a long clearing kick.
2' A slip-up at the back from City invites Ribery into the box; the experienced Bayern captain makes a heavy first touch though and Bravo sweeps in to spare his side's blushes.
1' We are underway in this 2018 International Champions Cup clash!
The teams have emerged at Hard Rock Stadium and we're moments away from kick-off.
MANCHESTER CITY: Claudio Bravo, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Aymeric Laporte, Eric Garcia, Cameron Humphreys-Grant, Douglas Luiz, Riyad Mahrez, Phil Foden, Brahim Diaz, Luke Bolton, Lukas Nmecha.
BAYERN MUNICH: Sven Ulreich, Chris Richards, David Alaba, Jonathan Meier, Rafinha, Arjen Robben, Paul Will, Kingsley Coman, Meritan Shabani, Franck Ribery, Sandro Wagner.
As for City, they make just two changes to the side who lost to Liverpool, with Aymeric Laporte and Douglas Luiz coming into the starting line-up. Their XI is a youthful one – but is anchored in midfield again by former Leicester City man Riyad Mahrez, finally a Manchester man after a protected transfer saga over the last few seasons.
Team news now and Bayern bring David Alaba and Arjen Robben back into the fold after the pair started on the bench against Juve at Lincoln Financial Field. Both sides are still missing key players from the World Cup – but with Kingsley Coman, Franck Ribery and Sandro Wagner in their ranks, the German outfit look to have the edge in experience.
Bayern meanwhile have had contrasting fortunes in their two ICC games so far; they turned over PSG 3-1 in Austria before being beaten themselves by Juventus in Philadelphia. Niko Kovac will have one last friendly before the DFL-Supercup final next month – but he will be keen to see his side deliver a win to cap off their USA fly-by.
Pep Guardiola’s side have played two and lost two so far in America, losing to Borussia Dortmund in Chicago and Liverpool in New Jersey – so will the Premier League champions be able to register a win at the final hurdle against the Bundesliga holders at the home of the Miami Dolphins?
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the 2018 International Champions Cup as Bayern Munich and Manchester City meet at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, in the Audi Football Summit.
