Minute   Description
This year's title has been secured with five matches to spare, and allows Bayern to focus fully on their chase for the Champions League over the final weeks of the season. The players, along with Heynckes and his coaches, are delighted and enjoying the celebrations with the travelling support. Thank you very much for joining us.
Bayern Munich defeat Augsburg 4-1 and they are Bundesliga champions for the sixth straight season. They looked very shaky for the opening 30 minutes and fell behind to Sule's own goal, which came about after a mistake from Boateng. But it was a completely different game from the time of Tolisso's equaliser, and further strikes from James, Robben and Wagner ensured Bayern secured an ultimately comfortable triumph, with Augsburg's threat diminishing entirely after the break.
90' No time is added and that is full-time! Bayern Munich are Bundesliga champions again!
89' Janker comes on in place of Baier for the final seconds.
87' GOAL!! Sandro Wagner puts the icing on the cake - and that was coming. From Rudy's corner, Wagner gets above his marker well to power in a downward header from six yards.
A good delivery from Rudy creates the opportunity, but Wagner still had plenty to do and showed good strength to head in.
85' Bayern are in comfortable possession at the moment, with Augsburg chasing shadows. Under five minutes remaining.
83' Muller will also get to enjoy the final moments on the pitch as he replaces Robben, whose goal appears to have settled this contest and sealed the title.
82' Ribery replaces Bernat, so the veteran Frenchman will be on the pitch as Bayern enjoy their title-winning moment.
80' Moravek replaces the lively Gregoritsch, and Augsburg look resigned to defeat now.
79' Robben cuts inside dangerously from the right and sees an effort blocked from the edge of the area - the Dutchman has been lively throughout.
77' How have Bayern not scored there? The visitors look destined to get a fourth goal as they break quickly and have a two against one situation, but the final pass is overhit and Hitz claims it.
75' The resulting corner comes to nothing, but Bayern are now under 15 minutes away from being crowned champions again.
74' SAVE! Free-kick to Bayern just 20 yards from goal after Robben is fouled by Hinteregger. Robben takes it himself and goes for a low effort to the goalkeeper's side, and Hitz has to be at full stretch to push it away. Good effort.
72' The game is opening up at the moment, with plenty of space and both sides threatening on the counter-attack - the scoring may not be over yet.
69' A comfortable spell of Bayern possession is interrupted by a fast Augsburg break, which sees Schmid flash in a dangerous cross that Gregoritsch just cannot convert.
65' A chance for Augsburg goes begging as Koo heads inches wide from Baier's cross.
64' The assist is James' last act after a productive afternoon, with Martinez coming on as Bayern look to ensure their two-goal advantage remains.
63' Richter replaces the impressive Cordova for the hosts, who now face an uphill struggle to deny Bayern the title.
62' GOAL!! Robben scores and that should be the title sealed for Bayern. Hinteregger clatters into Robben and that is a free-kick for Bayern wide on the right. Kimmich sends it in and after Hitz initially punches clear, Bayern somehow keep the ball alive in the area through Sule and James until Robben blasts in a bouncing effort from the right-hand side of the penalty area that beats the keeper at his near post.
James was the man who prevented the ball from going out of play in the scramble following the free-kick, and he is credited with an assist.
59' Another corner for Bayern, this time conceded by Hinteregger, as Bayern continue to press and probe. Again, though, the delivery from the left is comfortably cleared.
55' Robben wins a corner from Gouweleeuw, but it comes to nothing after Boateng is penalised for a foul on Caiuby in the busy penalty area.
54' A relatively quiet start to the second half, but Bayern are looking threatening, with regular crosses being sent into the Augsburg area.
51' The corner comes to nothing as the impressive Kimmich heads clear.
50' Cordova takes advantage of some indecision from Rafinha and gets into the edge of Bayern box's before winning a corner from Sule.
48' A good start to the second half by Bayern, whose patient spell of passing is only brought to an end by an offside flag against Robben. An early goal after the break could seal this victory, a rapid turnaround after what was a concerning start to the match.
46' Bayern Munich get the second half under way!
For the first half-hour, Augsburg were in control and deserved their lead, which came courtesy of Sule's 18th-minute own goal. But the hosts left Tolisso unmarked to head in an equaliser after 32 minutes, and that changed everything, with Bayern suddenly looking much more threatening. Six minutes later the visitors were in front after James finished off a slick attacking move. As things stand, Bayern are champions.
45'+2 That is the half-time whistle! Bayern go into the break with a 2-1 lead.
45' The fourth official has indicated there will be a minimum of two minutes additional time.
This game continues to be feisty, with Baier now booked for leaving his foot in as he attempted to challenge Kimmich.
44' BAYERN CLOSE AGAIN! Tolisso collects a pass from Kimmich and sees his left-footed effort pushed away by Hitz from 12 yards.
43' Khedira sees yellow for Augsburg, apparently for dissent.
42' Wagner is soon back up and he heads over for Bayern after there was a bit too much pace on Robben's right-wing cross. Augsburg are unhappy that a foul was not awarded in their favour in the build-up to the chance.
41' Wagner is down receiving treatment after an off-the-ball collision.
38' A great touch from Bernat to set up James, but huge credit must go to Kimmich also, as he beat a man and made great ground into the penalty area before send in his low cross.
GOAL!! The turnaround is complete as James puts Bayern 2-1 ahead! It is a lovely goal as Robben and Kimmich combine down the right, and the defender's cross is touched on by Bernat to James, who plants in a low finish from eight yards.
37' PENALTY CLAIM! Kimmich goes down in the area after a challenge from Hinteregger, but referee Schmidt is unmoved.
35' SO CLOSE! Bayern almost score a second as Hitz has to make a reaction save from Kimmich's close-range header. Kimmich is everywhere at the moment, but possibly should have netted there after Rafinha's excellent delivery.
32' GOAL!! Just like that, Bayern are level. With their first attempt on target, an unmarked Tolisso heads in Kimmich's cross frim six yards. The goal culminated a slick passing move, by far the visitors' best piece of play of the game so far.
Kimmich's cross came at the second attempt after his initial delivery was blocked. It was worth the wait, teeing up Tolisso perfectly from the right wing.
30' After Boateng fouls Koo, it is a free-kick to Augsburg. Schmid steps up to take it 25 yards from goal, but it is a poor effort that comfortably clears the crossbar.
27' Augsburg threatening in Bayern's box again, but a good defensive error from Kimmich ends the attack.
26' A poor clearance from Boateng gives Baier the chance to shoot from long range, but the Bayern defender redeems himself - for that error at least - with an important block.
24' A scrappy period of the game with several fouls in quick succession, but that will suit Augsburg. For the time being, Bernat is continuing after his earlier knock.
20' Boateng is also booked after protesting over the same incident!
Gregoritsch is booked for a foul on Boateng.
18' GOAL!!! Bayern fail to learn their lesson, as Boateng again loses possesssion, with Cordova picking his pocket. The striker races in on goal and sees his effort saved by Ulreich, but the ball rebounds into the air and bounces in off the unfortunate Sule!
16' Augsburg hit the post, although the offside flag was up! Boateng loses possession in a dangerous area, and after playing a neat one-two with Gregoritsch, Max fires an effort against the outside of the woodwork. But the flag comes up late - still, a warning for Bayern!
14' A long ball from Augsburg briefly has the Bayern defence worried, but Ulreich races out of his goal to claim the ball and end the immediate danger.
13' After initially getting back to his feet, Bernat is now down and receiving further treatment. Hummels begins warming up on the touchline.
12' Caiuby brings down Bernat deep inside the Bayern half for a free-kick. The full-back takes his time getting up and is still limping.
11' Apart from the shot from Caiuby, the opening stages have been relatively quiet, with Augsburg enjoying plenty of the ball. Based on the evidence so far, Bayern will have to work hard if they are to secure the title today.
7' At the other end, Bernat's attempted cross deflects out for a corner, but Augsburg are able to clear comfortably.
5' CLOSE! Augsburg have made a good start here. After winning the ball in midfield, the hosts threaten as Gregoritsch slips in Caiuby, who fires narrowly wide from just inside the area.
4' An Augsburg attack is halted when Cordova goes to ground 25 yards from goal after a driving run, with referee Markus Schmidt unmoved.
2' After a foul by Koo on Rafinha, Bayern are able to enjoy their first good spell of possession.
1' We are under way, with Bayern under early pressure as Ulreich has to make a rushed clearance under pressure from an unexpected back pass.
David Alaba and Arturo Vidal are out all together, with Sebastian Rudy joining Corentin Tolisso and James Rodriguez in midfield, while Sandro Wagner replaces Robert Lewandowski up top. Thomas Muller is also given a rest, with Juan Bernat starting in an advanced role on the left.
More than likely with half an eye on that return leg against Sevilla, Heynckes makes a glut of changes to Bayern’s starting XI.
Bayern substitutes: Hummels, Thiago, Ribera, Martinez, Lewandowski, Starke, Muller.
Bayern (4-3-3): Ulreich; Kimmich, Boateng, Sule, Rafinha; Tolisso, Rudy, James Rodriguez; Robben, Wagner, Bernat.
Augsburg (4-2-3-1): Hitz; Schmid, Gouweleeuw, Hinteregger, Max; Khedira, Baier; Koo, Gregoritsch, Caiuby; Cordova.
Team news is coming up…
Bayern’s Bavarian neighbours Augsburg, meanwhile, sit in 10th, well clear of any relegation trouble, though don’t look likely to challenge for the European spots either.
Bayern were at their imperious best against Dortmund, racing into a 5-0 lead by half-time, with Robert Lewandowksi’s hat-trick goal adding further gleam to the victory late on. They weren’t quite as sharp against Sevilla in the Champions League, but still came away from Andalusia with a 2-1 lead heading into the second-leg.
Schalke’s victory against Freiburg last week meant that Bayern’s 6-0 humiliation of Borussia Dortmund didn’t see the Bavarians claim the league crown, but a victory for Heynckes’ team would wrap up the title with five games to spare.
Hello and welcome to LIVE coverage of Bayern Munich’s clash with Augsburg, as Jupp Heynckes’ side look to seal their sixth straight Bundesliga title.
