Minute   Description
Thank you for tuning in! Goodbye for now!
City are now 16 points clear, and should their local rivals Manchester United slip-up tomorrow and lose to West Brom, they will be crowned champions - although that does seem unlikely.
But, having weathered some pressure from the hosts early in the second half, City came strong - Raheem Sterling putting a bad miss behind him to smash home a third and wrap up the victory.
Christian Eriksen’s goal on the stroke of half-time made things awkward for the visitors, who led courtesy of Gabriel Jesus’ calm finish and Ilkay Gundogan’s penalty.
FULL TIME! It’s all over at Wembley, with City having ended their three-game losing streak with a confident display against Tottenham.
90'+3 CLOSE! Moura lets rip with a powerful strike from range, that is dipping and swerving, but Ederson manages to parry it away from danger.
90'+1 There will be a minimum of four minutes added time.
89' A final change for City - Kevin De Bruyne making way for Yaya Toure.
88' The ball falls to Eriksen 15 yards out, but the Dane can’t generate enough power on his low strike to really test Ederson.
87' Pochettino’s side simply haven’t been good enough today, even though they looked to have City on the rocks in the early part of the second half. But, since Otamendi came on, City’s defence has settled.
84' A third and final change for Tottenham. Moussa Sissoko is coming on, replacing Dele Alli.
83' Tottenham are chasing shadows again now - City simply toying with Tottenham. That being said, Kompany has just conceded possession straight to Moura, who teed up Alli, but the midfielder’s effort is deflected wide.
80' Sterling finds acres of space down the left and cuts inside, but Sanchez manages to get back and make a fine challenge.
77' Delph has picked up a booking for a challenge down the left.
76' A second change now from City. Gabriel Jesus is going off, with Bernardo Silva on.
74' CHANCE! Unbelievable from De Bruyne, who cushions a looping clearance straight into the path of Sterling, despite being under pressure from Vertonghen. Sanchez, though, manages to get back and divert the forward’s strike wide.
73' Sterling's goal could have well put this beyond Tottenham, as Pochettino makes his second substitution. Moussa Dembele making way for Lucas Moura.
72' GOOOOAAAALLLL!!! Well, Sterling didn’t miss that! Having just failed to convert a simple chance, the forward picked up the scraps from Lloris’ save and duly thumped home high into the net from three yards out.
71' WHAT A MISS! Well, Jesus squandered a great chance earlier, but his blushes have been spared somewhat by his team-mate! Walker’s cross puts Sterling through on goal but, after rounding Lloris, the winger fails to beat Davies, who made a fine block.
70' Clever play from De Bruyne, who drives clear of danger before drawing a foul from Dembele, who picks up a booking for his troubles.
69' Twice, Tottenham have the opportunity to get through on goal, but both Eriksen and Alli - unusually - fail to find the final pass.
66' A booking for Kompany, who committed a cynical foul down the right. Eriksen delivers another terrific free-kick, but nobody managed to get on the end of it.
65' CHANCE! Silva gets free down the left channel and delivers a neat cut-back. Sterling is there to meet it, but his first touch lets him down.
64' For Tottenham, Erik Lamsla is making way - Heung-Min Son coming on.
A glut of changes now - one for each side. For City, Nicolas Otamendi is coming on, in place of Leroy Sane. That will mean City change to a three-man defence.
63' MISS! That’s dreadful from Jesus! The City striker is put through on goal, but when one-on-one with Lloris, only managed to skew his effort wide.
62' City have just managed to reassert some authority on proceedings in recent minutes, slowing the game down - temporarily at least - and maintaining a sustained spell of possession, although Guardiola appears to be preparing his first change.
59' Meanwhile, there’ll be another stoppage, as Jesus receives some treatment for what appears to be a knock to his head, although it doesn’t seem serious.
58' CLOSE! Davies finds space down the left and delivers a superb cross, but Kane can’t quite reach it, and Delph, Ederson and Silva are able to calmly play their way out of danger.
55' Dembele is starting to dictate the play for Tottenham now, and City simply can’t get on the ball. Guardiola is furious down on the touchline, demanding more from the visitors.
53' A brief stoppage in play, as Alli receives treatment after making a late run into City’s area and going down under pressure from several defenders.
51' Tottenham are well on top now, with the difference between their first half performance and second half display - so far - remarkable. Eriksen is picking up pockets of space behind Kane, and that is allowing Alli to cut inside and get more involved, with Davies and Trippier providing width.
48' Eriksen duly delivers a fantastic cross, but Ederson is off his line to punch it clear. It wouldn’t have counted anyway, however, with the offside flag having gone up.
47' Clumsy play from Laporte, who barges into Eriksen down the right flank, handing Tottenham the chance to get the ball in…
46' Welcome back! No changes for either side at the break, and we’re back up and running.
However, Eriksen - who has scored in each of his last four games in all competitions for Tottenham - has given the hosts hope, and with City’s recent form, Pochettino will be confident they can lodge a comeback.
Jesus put City deservedly ahead with a typically cool finish on 22 minutes before, three minutes later, Gundogan converted from the spot.
HALF-TIME! Well, it looked to be plain sailing for City, but Eriksen’s goal has certainly put Tottenham right back into this contest!
45'+2 Good cover from Trippier, who gets across to ensure Sane is unable to latch onto De Bruyne’s cross from the right.
45'+1 Another yellow card for a City player now, as Jesus goes into Jonathan Moss’ book for preventing Tottenham taking a quick free-kick.
44' Suddenly, City are on the rocks! Laporte has just conceded a corner, having had to beat Kane to a looping cross from the left, and Tottenham are applying the pressure… Well, at least until Lamela hits the set-piece out of play.
42' GOOOOAAAAALLL!! Tottenham pull one back out of nowhere! Well, City have thrown away leads in their last two games, and Tottenham have just given themselves a lifeline here - albeit with a large slice of luck. Eriksen raced into the area and prodded an effort at goal, and although Ederson saved it, the ball rebounded straight back into the Dane, who managed to turn it in.
41' A booking now for City, as De Bruyne picks tip a caution for a scissor-challenge on Vertonghen.
40' HIGH AND WIDE! It’s Sane who does take it, but the youngster shanks his effort way off target.
39' Sloppy from Davies, who needlessly brings down Sterling down on the right, and De Bruyne or Sane will now get the chance to whip the ball in.
37' No penalty! Lamela and All do well to combine and get the Argentine into the area but, having taken a heavy touch under pressure from Kompany, the former Roma winger takes a tumble. The Tottenham faithful want a penalty, but Lamela was probably fortunate not to get a booking for simulation.
33' SAVE! What an effort from Silva, who tries his luck with a venomous strike from 25 yards out. Lloris, however, was equal to it.
32' Finally, Lamela does get on the ball as he cuts in from the right and unleashes a low shot that sails wide. Kane is furious, having wanted the Argentine to slip him in behind City's defensive line.
30' Kane has seen hardly anything of the ball so far, and is cutting an isolated figure up top, while Alli and Lamela have struggled to get involved from the flanks.
29' City are rampant! Sane is the next one to go close, driving in down the left before trying to get a shot off, but Sanchez recovered in time to make a block.
27' Davies is now into the book, having dived in late and high on Kompany. The Welshman was over the ball and clearly went for the man, and is fortunate not to see red.
25' GOAL! What a finish that is! Gundogan stepped up to take it, and coolly hammered home a brilliant strike into the side-netting, sending Lloris the wrong way.
24' Tottenham may well feel harshly done by with that penalty decision. It was a poor challenge from Lloris, but it did look as though the contact was made outside of the area.
PENALTY TO CITY! Well, it’s going from bad to worse for Tottenham, as Lloris lunges in on Sterling. The referee played the advantage, but Jesus was unable to finish it off, and the spot-kick was then awarded.
22' It was nothing more than a punt into the channels from Kompany, but Vertonghen and Sanchez were not switched on to Jesus' movement, and Tottenham paid the price.
GOOOAAAAAALLLLL!!! Well, for all City’s short, slick passing, it’s one long ball from Kompany that undoes Tottenham’s defence. Jesus had the run on Sanchez and, having taken the ball into his path with a wicked first touch, duly slots home past Lloris.
20' Sterling is again given far too much time and space down the right, and ultimately picks out Gundogan. The German side-foots a strike at goal, but Sanchez deflects it over.
19' No penalty! Sterling goes down under pressure from Dembele after trying to get on the end of Sane’s cut-back, but the referee rightly waves away the appeals for a spot-kick.
17' Finally, Tottenham are clicking into gear. Trippier finds space down the left and delivers a superb first-time cross. Kane is lingering in the area, but Laporte was well-placed to deal with it.
13' Hard work from Eriksen, who hassles Laporte and forces a throw-in deep in City’s half. The visitors manage to play it out, however - Vertonghen doing well to prevent Sterling latching onto Silva’s throughblall.
11' City have certainly been the better side so far, and Tottenham need to weather this storm. Trippier looked to release Eriksen on the counter, but Ederson rushed out off his line to clear.
9' That’s poor from Sterling! A gap opened up through the heart of Tottenham’s defence, but a slack touch from the youngster allows the hosts to recover. The former Liverpool winger tried his luck from the edge of the area, but his shot sailed wide. Moments later, it’s De Bruyne who lets rip from range, only for his effort to flash across the face of goal and wide.
8' It will be interesting to see how Laporte settles in to City’s team today, especially up against Kane. Otamendi has been an ever-present for Guardiola this term, but these remaining fixtures will offer the Spaniard a chance to test the young Frenchman’s credentials.
5' That’s already a warning sign for Tottenham, whose defence was simply too static to deal with the pace and movement of City’s front line on that occasion.
4' OFF THE POST! Brilliant from City, as Sterling gets down the right and delivers a superb cross to Sane. The German anticipates it wonderfully, meeting the ball on the volley and slicing it goalwards. Lloris is beaten, but fortunately for Tottenham, the ball rattles the upright.
3' It appears that Eriksen is actually playing in a central role to start off, with Lamela on the right and Alli up against former Tottenham favourite Walker down the left.
1' KICK-OFF! City, wearing their crimson away strip, get proceedings underway.
It's close to a full house at Wembley, and both teams are out on the pitch with kick-off just moments away!
Harry Kane has caused some controversy this week by pushing through a successful campaign to get Christian Eriksen’s second goal against Stoke awarded as his, although it is highly doubtful that will have caused any friction in the Tottenham camp. The England forward has netted 25 league goals this campaign, but that is five short of Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.
Guardiola’s all-conquering City side have looked fragile in recent games, but a victory this evening would edge them ever close to crowning themselves Premier League champions. A win would move them 16 points clear with five games remaining, and the title would then be theirs if Manchester United lose to lowly West Brom tomorrow.
Pep Guardiola named an all-out attacking line-up against Liverpool in midweek, but has gone for a more conservative 4-3-3 this time. Fernandinho, who is suspended, Nicolas Otamendi and Bernardo Silva make way, with Ilkay Gundogan, Vincent Company and Fabian Delph coming in. There is no place in the squad for John Stones, while Sergio Aguero is out with a knee injury.
Manchester City substitutes: Bravo, Bernardo Silva, Otamendi, Zinchenko, Toure, Foden, Diaz.
Manchester City (4-3-3): Ederson; Walker, Kompany, Laporte, Delph; De Bruyne, Gundogan, Silva; Sterling, Gabriel Jesus, Sane.
Three changes in total for Tottenham from their win over Stoke City last time out - Heung-Min Son, Victor Wanyama and Danny Rose dropping out for Erik Lamela, Eric Dier and Ben Davies respectively. Toby Alderweireld is absent from the home side’s squad all together.
Tottenham substitutes: Son, Wanyama, Vorm, Sissoko, Aurier, Lucas Moura, Sterling.
Tottenham (4-2-3-1): Lloris; Trippier, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Davies; Dier, Dembele; Eriksen, Alli, Lamela; Kane.
Team news is in from Wembley. We’ll start off with the hosts.
Tottenham, meanwhile, have won all of their last six league games, and remain well in the hunt for third place, although Liverpool’s win over Bournemouth has put the Reds three points ahead of Mauricio Pochettino’s side as it stands.
City have endured a difficult last three fixtures, having dropped out of the Champions League with a 5-1 aggregate defeat to Liverpool, the legs of which came either side of a 3-2 loss in the Manchester derby.
Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the final Premier League game of the day, with Tottenham taking on champions elect Manchester City at Wembley!
