Minute   Description
That's all from us today folks, we hope you enjoyed the game!
Augsburg put in a huge performance today to keep Dortmund at bay. The hosts took the lead early on through Finnbogason, but they were punished just minutes later when Aubameyang equalised. Dortmund are still in third spot, but Hoffenheim are now level on points with them, meaning that Champions League qualification will go down to the final game as well.
There was late drama in the game between Schalke and Hamburg, who hold the third relegation spot in the Bundesliga. Hamburg secured a late equaliser which means that Augsburg’s safety is not secured with this draw, it will go to the final game next week.
FULL-TIME: AUGSBURG 1-1 DORTMUND
90'+3 That's the full-time whistle!
90'+2 Late Augsburg substitution, with the goalscorer Finnbogason coming off to be replaced by Dong-Won Ji.
90'+1 A late yellow card is shown to Dominik Kohr.
90' There will be a minimum of three added time played here. Can Augsburg keep Dortmund out and clinch their survival? The home supporters certainly think so, the atmosphere is electric here.
89' Final Dortmund change of the game and it is Matthias Ginter who is heading off the pitch and he is replaced by Sebastian Rode, making a rare Dortmund appearance.
87' Another change for Augsburg is met by an enthusiastic applause from the home support, as they show their appreciation for Schmid, who has put in a fine performance here today and he is replaced by Georg Teigl.
85' Not long to go here, can either side create another goalscoring chance and nick the three points?
83' HOW DID HE MISS! Reus should have scored and given Dortmund the lead! The winger was played through on goal, after Aubameyang's flick on fell straight into the path of Reus who dragged his shot wide of the goal! Just inches wide, it really should have hit the back of the net and Reus knows it. That sums up his game today.
81' GREAT SAVE! Luthe pulls off another fabulous stop to deny Dortmund! This time it is Kagawa with a looping header, but Luthe managed to get a firm hand to it and push it over the bar. The debutante has had a great game today, making several important saves for his team.
80' Dortmund substitution sees Guerreiro come off and he is replaced by USA youngster, Christian Pulisic.
79' Decent chance for Aubameyang! Durm whipped another good ball into the box from the right wing, just found the striker at the far post and he took his shot first time on the volley. However he couldn't keep his effort down and it goes well over the crossbar.
77' Surely Thomas Tuchel needs to look at his bench and make some changes here, as Dortmund appear to have run out of ideas and are struggling to really threaten the Augsburg goal.
76' The hosts have really struggled to provide any service to their front players in this second half. However Altintop does well to win a corner for his side. A good opportunity for Augsburg to threaten the Dortmund goal... Schmid whips it and and it is attacked by Kohr but his header goes just over bar. Decent opportunity, he just couldn't keep his header down.
73' Good effort at goal by Schmelzer from long range and it forced Luthe into making a save. The Augsburg keeper spilled the ball, but luckily it was close enough for him to gather and regain his composure, with Aubameyang lurking close by.
71' Into the final 20 minutes here at the WWK Arena and Dortmund's frustration at being unable to break Augsburg down is starting to boil over. Reus has not been able to get involved in this game and he is involved in a coming together with Paul Verhaegh. The referee calms the players down and awards Augsburg a free-kick.
68' Augsburg make their first substitution of the game with Stafylidis the man coming off and he is replaced by Caiuby.
66' Dortmund continue to dominate possession here, but the hosts are really putting everything into this game and their supporters are voicing their pleasure at their performance so far. It is a big occasion and if the scoreline remains the same, they will be practically safe from relegation.
64' Dortmund will be hoping they can wrap up their Bundesliga campaign next week in the knowing that they have secured Champions League football for next season. They then have the chance to pick up silverware the week after, when they face Eintracht Frankfurt in the final of the DFB-Pokal. Dortmund lost last years final on penalties to Bayern Munich.
61' GREAT CHANCE! Aubameyang forces Luthe into making a superb save to deny the prolific Dortmund striker a second goal! It was a powerful header by the striker from the six-yard area and it looked to be heading into the bottom right-hand corner, however Luthe got down well to make a fantastic save. Best chance of the second half.
59' The first Augsburg yellow card of the game is shown to Konstantinos Stafylidis for a rash tackle on Dembele.
58' Dortmund have won three of their last four games and they have secured a lot of wins and points in the final third of games this season. They appear to be running out of ideas here at the moment, with Augsburg easily coping with everything that the visitors can throw at the them.
56' Aubameyang is given too much time and space around 30 yards from goal, the striker turns and fires a powerful shot at goal but it goes narrowly over the bar. Reus flicked the ball on and the Dortmund striker pounced immediately. Warning for Augsburg.
55' Hoffenheim are now five-nil up at Bremen! Meaning that they are now just one goal behind Dortmund on goal difference. However, Dortmund know that a victory here today will gave them the advantage heading into the final game of the season and put their fate in their own hands.
53' The atmosphere here inside the WWK Arena is excellent, with the home supporters really getting behind their team as they try and guarantee survival and a place in Bundesliga next season.
51' Augsburg are having to withstand a period of heavy pressure from Dortmund at the moment. The visitors are currently camped inside their half of the pitch and are spreading the ball around the pitch with ease. Good defending so far to keep them out.
49' PENALTY SHOUT! Augsburg want a penalty after a coming together between Guerreiro and Max in the penalty area. There wasn't too much contact though and the referee waves away the penalty appeals, which came mainly from the home supporters.
48' The visitors rival for a Champions League spot, Hoffenheim are currently beating Werder Bremen 3-0 away from home, which means that they will move level on points with Dortmund in third on goal difference. Augsburg next game is against Hoffenheim, whilst Dortmund place Bremen in their final game of the Bundesliga season.
46' The second half is underway!
The score is level at the break here at the WWK Arena. Augsburg took the lead through Finnbogason, but Dortmund equalised just minutes later through top goalscorer Aubameyang. Dortmund have dominated possession but have struggled to create many chances and they have looked vulnerable on the break, with Augsburg doing well on the counter-attack.
HALF-TIME: AUGSBURG 1-1 DORTMUND
45'+3 That's the half-time whistle!
45'+2 CHANCE DORTMUND! Excellent opportunity by Aubameyang to give the visitors the lead. It was fantastic play by Dembele down the right wing to create space to whip the ball into the box, it was met by Aubameyang in the air, but he sent his header just wide of the goal! It was a difficult chance for the striker but a player of his quality could and maybe should have scored there.
45' Three minutes of added time to be played here.
44' Augsburg have been terrific at the back so far, minus the lapse of concentration after the goal which led to the Dortmund equaliser. They haven't allowed the likes of Reus and Dembele to get on the ball and influence proceedings around the penalty area.
41' Not long to go until the half-time break here and the score remains level. Can either side grab another goal before the end of 45 minutes? Dortmund are currently controlling possession but once again, they are lacking the final ball and are struggling to get Reus on the ball, who is being marked out of the game.
39' Since Weigl went off injured, Ginter has moved into his position in midfield and the Dortmund man doesn't look overly confident in that spot at the moment. After picking up an early yellow card for a late challenge, Ginter needs to be careful here.
37' The hosts have had more chances to score in the first half, but remarkably they have had just 27% of possession so far here. Many of their chances coming through fast and intelligent counter-attacks which have caught Dortmund out.
34' Augsburg have it all to do once again. They have a poor record at home this season and Dortmund have a fierce attack so it was always going to be a tough ask to keep the visitors and especially Aubameyang at bay today.
32' The returning man to the side today, Kagawa, fired a low shot at goal and it landed perfectly at the feet of Aubameyang who put it into the back of the net.
GOOOAAALLL! DORTMUND EQUALISE! Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has the ball in the back of the net, just minutes after his side go behind. Augsburg failed to clear their lines from the previous attack and it fell to Shinji Kagawa who fired a shot at goal from the edge of the box, it was blocked and then fell straight into the path of Aubameyang who made no mistakes from so close out. Another Dortmund goal by the striker.
31' CHANCE! Dortmund are pushing forward and Durm whipped a cross into the box which was deflected and was forced off the line! The danger is yet to be cleared, can Dortmund pull one back just moments after going behind?
28' GOOOAAALLL! AUGSBURG LEAD! It was a terrific low shot by Max, which seemed to take Burki by surprise. The Dortmund keeper came out and tried to gather the ball but he could only push it into the path of Finnbogason, it fell perfectly into the strikers path and he simply couldn’t miss from just a few yards out. A vital goal for Augsburg, they hit Dortmund on the counter-attack perfectly then and punished the visitors.
27' It is all Dortmund at the moment, they are making Augsbury do plenty of running across the pitch by keeping the ball well on a hot and sunny day here in Bavaria. However they are yet to create a goalscoring opportunity.
25' STAT: Dortmund drew 1-1 at home to Augsburg earlier this season. There has been 12 matches between the two sides, Dortmund have won eight, drawn three and lost just one against Augsburg.
22' Dortmund are forced into making the early substitution because of the injury to Weigl, who has left the pitch on a stretcher and it looks like that could be the end of his season. On in his place is Erik Durm.
21' Stoppage in play here as Julian Weigl is down injured and it doesn't look like he is going to be able to continue. Weigl looks to have twisted his ankle after going into a tackle and it looks a painful one for the Dortmund midfielder.
20' Dortmund have been somewhat inconsistent on the road this season, but their recent away outings have shown improvement. Dortmund have beaten Bayern Munich and Borussia M’gladbach in their last two on the road. Meanwhile, Augsburg hold the Bundesliga’s third worst home record.
17' WHAT A CHANCE! Roman Burki pulls off a spectacular save to deny Alfred Finnbogason at his near post from close range! A low cross came into the box by Max and Finnbogason had time at the far post to fire a well timed shot at goal, which looked to be heading into the back of the net. However, Burki did brilliantly to react and pull off a wonderful save. But really he should have scored! The resulting corner comes to nothing.
15' Both teams are certainly getting stuck in so far here today, with plently of tackles flying in. Dortmund have dominated possession but that haven't troubled Luthe in the Augsburg goal.
13' The first yellow card of the game is shown to Ginter for a late challenge on Philipp Max. This leads to a free-kick in a good position for Augsburg, which Jonathan Schmid takes. However his cross come shot is poor as it goes over all of his teammates and doesn't come close to troubling the Dortmund goal. Wasted opportunity.
12' Good football by Aubameyang and Ousmane Dembele down the right wing which allows the latter to whip a ball into the box looking for Marco Reus, but the cross is too close to Andreas Luthe who does well come off his line and collect the ball, to ease the danger.
10' Dortmund are the favourites to pick up all three points here and the form of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who is the Bundesliga’s joint top scorer with 28 goals, should prove particularly troublesome for the relegation strugglers. Aubameyang has scored at least one goal in eight of his last ten Bundesliga outings and the striker will be confident of causing Augsburg problems today who have struggled to keep clean sheets at home.
7' The atmosphere is excellent here inside the stadium, with Dortmund cheered on by a huge visiting section of supporters and the home supporters very vocal as well. Their support today may be vital to the home sides performance here.
5' Both teams are struggling to keep hold of the ball at the moment, possession is switching from team to team and neither side have created any early opportunities to break the deadlock.
4' This is a massive game for both sides here today. The visitors need to pick up three points in order to move away from danger, however Dortmund also have a target in mind. They are looking to secure Champions League qualification for next season, along with putting in some good performances ahead of their cup final in a few weeks time.
2' Brief stoppage in play here as Matthias Ginter is down receiving medical treatment after a heavy tackle. It looks like he will fine to continue.
1' We're underway!
The teams are out here and kick-off is almost upon us. Stay tuned for all of the match action!
Big team news today is that Marc Bartra is back for Dortmund today, he takes his place on the bench after suffering an injury during the attack of the Dortmund team coach a few weeks ago.

CONFIRMED TEAM NEWS...
Dortmund are still eyeing a top three finish which would see them guarantee qualification into next season’s Champions’ League group stages, however fourth placed Hoffenheim are just two points behind them in the Bundesliga table.
Meanwhile their opponents tonight Dortmund, are also starting to hit a good run of form after a tough few weeks. Three Bundesliga wins from their last four and progression through to the final of the DFB Pokal, as Dortmund beat Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena for the first time since 2014.
They are now away from automatic relegation but Augsburg are still just two points above Hamburger SV and the relegation play-off spot, so Manuel Baum’s side still need to pick up as many points as possible.
Augsburg’s run of form couldn’t have come at a better time. They have picked up seven points from a tricky run of fixtures, including a 4-0 win at home to strugglers Hamburger SV and a 1-1 draw away to European chasing Borussia Monchengladbach last weekend, saw them move themselves away from immediate danger.
Good afternoon and welcome to our LIVE match commentary of the Bundesliga clash between Augsburg and Borussia Dortmund.
