Minute   Description
That's all from us tonight folks, we hope you enjoyed the game!
Dortmund clinch a huge three points to move up to third in the Bundesliga table. The visitors took the lead through a Marco Reus penalty, which was questionably given by the referee. However Lars Stindl equalised just minutes before half-time. Gladbach then took a surprise lead after Schmelzer put the ball into his own net. However goals from Aubameyang and Guerreiro saw the visitors take all three points here at the Borussia Park.
90'+3 That's the final whistle!
Bürki is shown a yellow card for time wasting.
90' There will be a minimum of three minutes of added time played here. Can Gladbach snatch a late equalising goal?
87' Pulisic won the free-kick down the right wing, which was taken by Castro who put the ball into a perfect area, inviting a teammate to get on the end of it and Guerrerio did just that.
GOOOAAALLL! DORTMUND TAKE THE LEAD! Guerreiro finally gets the ball into the back of the net, after hitting the post just minutes earlier. Castro whipped the ball into the box and Guerreiro got ahead of his marker to glance the ball past the helpless Sommer. Dortmund lead 3-2!
Third and final Dortmund substitution as Ousmane Dembélé leaves the pitch and is replaced by Emre Mor.
86' Dortmund are the side in control at the moment, they are pushing hard for a winning goal here. Aubameyang has failed to get on the ball much since his goal.
83' OFF THE POST! Guerreiro goes agonisingly close to giving Dortmund the lead, it was an excellent turn in the box and then Guerreiro fired a low shot at goal. Sommer was beaten and it looks to be heading into the bottom left-hand corner. However the ball bounced off the inside of the post and Gladbach finally clear the ball!
81' Here is the third and final Gladbach substitution of the game, Nico Elvedi is the man who is heading off and he is replaced by the fresh legs of Julian Korb.
79' Merino is shown the yellow card for a late foul. Plenty of yellow cards have been shown here tonight, which just shows the intensity that the two sides are playing with.
77' GREAT SAVE! Burki with another fantastic save to keep Gladbach out! Hermann just had the keeper to beat and tried to lift if over the onrushing Burki. However the Dortmund keeper is on his toes and sprints towards Hermann and blocks the attempt at goal. The resulting corner comes to nothing.
75' Dortmund have scored 16 goals in the last 15 minutes of games, which is the second best in the Bundesliga. There is still plenty of time for both sides to push forward and score another goal, or more.
72' The resulting free-kick won by Pulisic was fired high over the crossbar. It doesn't come close to troubling Sommer, who breathes a sigh of relief.
71' Nico Elvedi is the latest player to be shown a yellow card for a blatant foul on Pulisic. The American was getting dangerously close to the Gladbach goal and Elvedi needed to stop him.
Another Gladbach substitution, with Ibrahima Traoré the man coming off and he has been replaced by Patrick Herrmann.
69' The pace of the game has intensified since Dortmund scored their equalising goal, with both teams pushing forward in search of the winning goal. However neither side have been able to produce a good final ball or create any goalscoring opportunities at the moment.
66' STAT: Dortmund beat Gladbach 4-1 at home when the two sides met earlier this season. Of the 45 matches at home to Dortmund, Gladbach have won 19, drawn 16 and lost just 10.
64' Here comes the first Gladbach substitution of the game, with Mahmoud Dahoud the man coming off and he is replaced by László Bénes.
62' Aubameyang had been on the pitch for just 109 seconds before he scored Dortmund's equalising goal! That was his 27th Bundesliga goal of the season, which takes him to the top of the scoring charts, one above Bayern's Robert Lewandowski.
59' It was a delightful ball by Dembélé to pick Aubameyang out in the box in acres of space.
GOOOAAALLL! WHAT AN IMPACT! Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has only just come onto the pitch and after just a few touches of the ball, he has scored! Dembele played the ball through to the striker who was given far too much space in the box. Aubameyang takes the ball past the on rushing Sommer, before putting the ball into the back of the net from a tight angle.
57' Here comes the second Dortmund substitution of the game, with Marco Reus coming off and he is replaced by prolific striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who already has 26 Bundesliga goals to his name this season.
56' Dortmund have a lot of strength in depth on the bench and they may look to use that talent soon, in an attempt to get back into this game as soon as they can.
54' Gonzalo Castro is shown the yellow card.
53' Dortmund’s recent three defeats have been against very difficult opponents – but the BVB’s best performances have consistently at home, not on the road. the visitors today have been hugely inconsistent away from home, winning just two of their last ten Bundesliga away matches.
51' Gladbach have done very well to get back into this game now take the lead. The home supporters are creating an excellent atmosphere here inside the Borussia Park, enthused by their sides comeback.
48' GOOOAAALLL! GLADBACH TAKE THE LEAD! Marcel Schmelzer with the own goal, after he deflected the shot at goal into his own net. The corner just moments ago was not cleared by Dortmund and fell kindly to Hahn who fired a shot at goal, which Schmelzer was unfortunate to put past his own keeper.
CHANCE GLADBACH! Lack of communication in the Dortmund defence sees a collision between players, which allows Hahn a chance to shoot at goal, however Burki is quick off his line and smothers the shot. Gladbach corner.
47' Gladbach have failed to register a victory against any of the current top four teams in the Bundesliga this season. Could this be about to change tonight? Dortmund will be keen to regain their dominance, after conceding a late goal at the end of the first-half.
46' The second half is underway!
After 45 minutes of football it is 1-1 here between Borussia Monchengladbach and Borussia Dortmund. The visitors took the lead through a Marco Reus penalty, which was questionably given by the referee. Dortmund dominated the game for large spells and should have scored another. However a mistake by Merino led to an equalising goal by Lars Stindl.
45'+1 That's the half-time whistle!
45' There will be a minimum of one minute added time played here.
43' It was an excellent ball by André Hahn into the path of Stindl who just had the keeper to beat and he made no mistakes with the finish.
GOOOAAALLL! GLADBACH EQUALISE! Merino loses the ball on the edge of the area and is picked up by Hahn, he then lays the ball off to Lars Stindl who fires a low shot into the bottom of the right-hand corner. Burki had no chance of saving that! 1-1 here at the Borussia Park.
42' The Dortmund supporters have come in their numbers here tonight, they are making a lot of noise in the far corner of the ground as their side hold a strong one-nil lead heading into the break.
40' Dortmund have defended very well so far here tonight, keeping Hahn and Traore quiet, the two players who potentially could cause Dortmund the most problems. The Dortmund three-man defence have a man advantage back there and this has shown during the first-half.
37' Less than 10 minutes to go until the half-time whistle now. Dortmund look in control of this game, however Gladbach have improved since the opening stages of the game when they were put under heavy pressure from the visitors.
35' Bender plays a poor ball across the goal to Matthias Ginter, who can only divert the ball towards a Gladbach player. This gives the hosts a good chance to attack, but they cannot move the ball fast enough and Dortmud get back to clear the danger away from their goal.
32' Gladbach are notably improved under coach Dieter Hecking – they have earnt 23 points in 13 matches under his guidance. Plus Gladbach have won or drawn a massive 71% of their matches at BORUSSIA Park this season. They will need to improve in the remaining hour in order to take anything away from todays game.
30' Lars Stindl tries a through ball, splitting the Dortmund defence, but Ibrahima Traoré is caught offside as he tries to run through on goal. The game is much more open now and Gladbach are playing much better, but they have failed to test Burki in the Dortmund goal.
27' SO CLOSE! Reus goes incredibly close to doubling Dortmund's lead! The forward is played through on goal, he is forced wide so cuts back inside and looks to beat Sommer, however Strobl does brilliantly to get back and block Reus' effort at goal, which looked to be heading into the back of the net.
26' Excellent link up play between Reus, Pulisic and Dembele, the attacking three are causing the Gladbach defence a lot of problems. Dembele is almost set up for a shot at goal, but the pass by Pulisic is cut out by Andreas Christensen.
24' Free-kick to Gladbach in a good position after a foul by Sven Bender. The ball was whipped in by Ibrahima Traore and Andre Hahn tried to flick it on, but Roman Burki was on his toes and gathered the ball easily. The linesman has his flag up for offside anyway, so if it had gone in it would not have counted.
22' The Dortmund substitution is finally confirmed with Nuri Şahin unable to run off the injury inflicted and he is replaced by Mikel Merino Zazón.
21' Dortmund will move up to third in the Bundesliga table if they they can secure all three points here. However they would remain five points behind RB Leipzig and 14 points behind Bayern Munich.
19' Better from Gladbach as they take advantage of Sahin's departure from the pitch, the midfielder is still on the sidelines and Dortmund remain down to 10 men. However they are failing to get anywhere near the Dortmund final third.
16' Brief stoppage in play here as Nuri Sahin is down in some pain, after a challenge with Tobias Strobl. The midfielder looks in a lot of pain and is receiving medical treatment, Sahin may be coming off early on.
14' It is still at Dortmund here at the Borussia Park. Gladbach have barely touched the ball, never mind make any progress into their opponents half. Meanwhile Dortmund look eager to double their lead.
12' GREAT SAVE! Yann Sommer makes a superb stop to deny Ousmane Dembele from close range. The ball was played through to Dembele by Pulisic, the Frenchman then tried to lift the ball over Sommer and into the corner of the net, but the Gladbach keeper made himself big and pulled off an excellent stop.
10' REUS CONVERTS! The former Gladbach player has scored against his former side once again! Reus makes no mistakes from the penalty spot, to give Dortmund an early lead. The goal had been coming with the visitors dominating the early stages of this game.
9' Mahmoud Dahoud picks up an early yellow card for his rash challenge on Pulisic, which saw the awarding of the penalty.
DORTMUND PENALTY! Christian Pulisic is brought down by Mahmoud Dahoud, right on the edge of the area after a mistake allows the youngster to run through. It is right on the line of the penalty area and the Gladbach players are furious that a penalty was given, rather than a free-kick. One thing for sure, is that it was a clear foul by Dahoud.
6' Reus is facing his former side here today, he joined Dortmund from Gladbach for €17m in 2012. The German international has an excellent record against his former club under Tuchel, either scoring or assisting seven goals in his last three appearances.
4' The atmosphere is electric here inside the Borussia Park, as a sold-out crowd cheer their team on. So far it is all Dortmund here, with Gladbach struggling to make it out of their own half at the moment and string more than a couple of passes together.
2' Early free-kick for Dortmund in a good position for a shot or cross into the box. Marco Reus takes aim... However he fires high over the crossbar. That was a good early opportuntity for the visitors here today, who are putting Gladbach under early pressure with their high pressing game.
1' We're underway!
The teams are out and kick-off is almost upon us here. Stay tuned for all of the match action!

Gladbach are pushing for a place in Europe, so are much more likely to field their best side, whereas Dortmund may rest a few players to prepare themselves for their cup semi-final against Bayern Munich next Wednesday.
Thomas Tuchel’s Borussia Dortmund have had a tough few weeks, with last weekend’s 3-1 win at home to Eintracht Frankfurt being the only positive between three defeats. They suffered a 4-1 defeat on the road to Bayern Munich, alongside defeats in both legs of the Champions League quarter finals against Monaco. Dortmund now can only hope to clinch silverware in the DFB Pokal, with their semi-final coming up on Wednesday.
Hoffenheim proved slightly too much for Gladbach last weekend, as they suffered a 5-3 defeat. However, Gladbach did secure a 3-2 win away to FC Cologne in the match prior to see Hecking’s side remain just two points shy of the top six.
Gladbach are much improved since a managerial change saw coach Dieter Hecking take over during the winter break, who has guided Gladbach up to seventh in the Bundesliga table.
