Judge returns to Yankees´ starting lineup

19 September 2018 00:38

If weather allows the New York Yankees to host the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday, they are going to get Aaron Judge back in the starting lineup.

The Yankees announced that Judge will bat second and start in left field against Boston, marking his first start since July 26 against the Kansas City Royals.

Judge has served as a designated fielder since that time, but has not had an MLB at-bat.

Judge, batting .285 this season with 26 home runs and 61 RBIs, suffered a wrist injury after the All-Star break. He has 78 home runs since the start of last season.

New York announced that Tuesday's game time had been moved with forecasts predicting inclement weather throughout the day.
