Stanley Cup playoffs: Ducks claim game two against Predators

15 May 2017 04:41

The Anaheim Ducks levelled the Western Conference Finals against the Nashville Predators with a 5-3 win on Sunday.

Much has been made about the impenetrable force that was the Predators defensive unit on their unlikely run, but game two was a different story.

The Ducks enjoyed a timely breakthrough and held on to even their series at 1-1 as it heads to Nashville.

Ryan Getzlaf had a three-assist game for the Ducks, who rallied with a three-goal second period.

Jakob Silfverberg, Ondrej Kase and Nick Ritchie scored to give the Ducks the lead, after the Predators had gone 2-0 and 3-2 ahead.

Ducks goaltender John Gibson stopped 30 of 33 shots.

Game three is in Nashville on Tuesday.
